01 Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account on JrDev ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform. Continued use of the Platform constitutes ongoing acceptance of these Terms.

02 User Accounts

• •You must provide accurate and complete information when registering an account.
• •You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• •You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• •Each person may only hold one account. Duplicate accounts may be suspended.

03 Sprint Listings & Contracts

• •Businesses create sprint listings defining deliverables, timeline, and payment.
• •Developers join sprint listings voluntarily. Joining constitutes interest, not a commitment until the contract is e-signed by both parties.
• •Once both parties have e-signed a contract, the terms of that contract are binding. The contract includes a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), deliverables schedule, and payment trigger.
• •Deliverables are confidential and only visible to the developer after they have e-signed the contract.

04 Payment & Billing

• •Payments are processed securely through Stripe. JrDev does not store card details.
• •A business is charged only when they mark a developer's sprint as complete ("reviewed").
• •If a business flags a deliverable for review, no payment is taken until the dispute is resolved.
• •Refunds may be requested within 7 days of sprint completion if minimum requirements were not met, subject to review.

05 Intellectual Property

Intellectual property rights for code produced during a sprint are governed by the individual Sprint Agreement (contract) signed by both parties. In general:

• •Upon full payment, the business obtains sole ownership of the delivered software.
• •If payment is not made (e.g. sprint failed), the developer retains all rights to their code.
• •Developers may list the project on their CV/portfolio subject to the NDA restrictions in their contract.

06 Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• •Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.
• •Submit plagiarised, AI-generated-only, or fraudulent work as your own prototype.
• •Attempt to circumvent Platform protections, including payment or NDA terms.
• •Harass, impersonate, or mislead other users.

07 Dispute Resolution

If a disagreement arises between a business and developer regarding deliverables, quality of work, or payment, either party may flag the sprint for review. JrDev will act as an impartial mediator. Our decision on disputed sprints is final.

08 Limitation of Liability

JrDev provides the Platform on an "as is" basis. We do not guarantee the quality of work produced by developers or the conduct of businesses. To the fullest extent permitted by law, JrDev shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.

09 Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support. Active contracts and outstanding payments must be honoured before account deletion.

10 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11 Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
